Our Mission

We believe that every person has the right to lead a productive and fulfilling life.  These rights are threatened by ongoing physical, economic, social, financial, and institutional societal disparities.  Faith Partnership Network exists to impact and transform lives of individuals by building organizational capacity and collaborative relationships among partners.

Our mission is pursed through several programs aimed at assisting and strengthening Faith-Serving Organizations.  These programs include:

Ø      Organizational strength assessment and evaluation

Ø      Targeted training and technical assistance

Ø      Service specific focus groups and collaborative ventures

Ø      Access to Partners

Ø      Access to funding and fund development resources

Ø      Access to technology and “best practices”

Organization Profile

Faith Partnership Network is comprised of:

Faith and Community-based Leaders from a broad sector of our community who serve to ensure that people who are without hope and in need have access to hope restorers and spirit builders unique faith and spiritually-based services and uniquely delivered through the hands and hearts of those who serve therein.

Affiliates: are voluntary grassroots to mid-size faith and community-based organizations and congregations that provide family renewal services.  These organizations are most often the first point of contact for those in need and therefore are an invaluable component of service delivery.  Affiliates of the Network may access training and technical assistance in the areas that best help them reach their fullest potential.

Partners: represent all other sectors of our community who support, in various ways, the work and ministry of these grassroots and mid-size organizations.  Partners access opportunities to enrich their knowledge and relationships with the community through FPN affiliates.  These partnerships not only strengthen existing relationships but also fosters the development of new, transformational ones.

Information Technology (follow the News link)

Ø     Coming January 2006 - a  database of area, faith-based service providers that can be accessed, via the web, by several indicators such as service category or zip code.  This answers the need in our community to have knowledge of and access to local faith-based providers.

Ø     Registered organization will automatically receive information on a variety of capacity enhancement opportunities.

Ø     The database will offer prospective volunteers and donors the opportunity to directly communicate with local faith-serving organizations.
